Ed Carpenter is returning to the IZOD IndyCar Series for three more races in 2010. Carpenter will drive a second car for Panther Racing with sponsorship from Fuzzy’s Premium Vodka, his sponsor from the 2010 Indy 500.
Carpenter , whose specialty is oval racing, will drive in the three domestic oval races (Kentucky, Chicago, and Homestead) that remain on the second oval portion of the schedule. Carpenter had a career best finish of second at Kentucky last year, where Ryan Briscoe edged him in the 10th closest finish in series history.
